Merino Wool Performance & Comfort
Temperature & Moisture Management
Merino wool is commonly used for base layers because its fiber structure can help manage moisture and support comfort across changing temperatures. Actual garment performance depends on fabric composition, GSM, construction and finishing.
Merino & Lyocell Blend Options
For brands requiring a different hand feel or drape, Merino wool can be combined with Lyocell. Stretch blends containing spandex are also available for products requiring greater flexibility and recovery.
These options allow the base layer to be developed around the intended end use rather than relying on one standard Merino fabric.
In-Stock Merino Fabrics & OEKO-TEX® Documentation
Selected Merino wool fabrics are available from stock, subject to current color and quantity availability. This can help shorten the material sourcing stage for suitable projects.
Some selected fabrics may also have **OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 documentation**. Certificate availability, validity and scope should be confirmed against the specific fabric and supplier documentation selected for each order.
